Philadelphia Shooting Incidents

On Saturday, Oct. 3, 2026, at approximately 10:01 p.m., 22nd District officers responded to the area of 18th and Norris streets for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located two adult male gunshot victims on the 1900 block of N. 18th Street. The first victim, a 49-year-old male, was suffering from a gunshot wound to the back. The second victim, a 36-year-old male, was suffering from gunshot wounds to the stomach and buttocks. Both victims were transported to Temple University Hospital and listed in stable condition. The scene was secured by police.The offender was described as an unknown white male wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and green camouflage pants. No further description is available and no arrest has been made at this time.

On Sunday, Oct. 4, 2026, at approximately 12:34 a.m., 9th District officers responded to a radio call for a person with a gun on the 1000 block of Spring Garden Street. Upon arrival, officers located a 39-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was transported by police to Jefferson Hospital for treatment. The male was placed in stable condition by doctors. The scene was secured by police. The offender was described as a Black male, approximately 20 to 30 years old, with a tall, thin build, wearing all black clothing. The offender was last seen running eastbound on Spring Garden Street toward 10th Street. No arrest has been made at this time.

Both investigations remain active and ongoing with the Shooting Investigation Group.
