Several roadway projects will be underway across Camden County during the week of November 2 to November 6.
“Motorists should plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”
Audubon
· Crews will be working on East Atlantic Avenue on Monday, November 2, and Wednesday, November 4 through to Friday, November 6, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There will be a lane closure between West Merchant Street in Audubon and Station Avenue in Haddon Heights.
· Crews will be working on 257 Crystal Lake Avenue on Wednesday, November 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. There will be a partial westbound road closure between Prospect Avenue and Hopkins Road.
Camden
· Crews will be working on Haddon Avenue on Monday, November 2, Wednesday, November 4 through to Friday, November 6, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be a northbound shoulder closure at the intersection with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
· Crews will be working on Haddon Avenue on Monday, November 2, Wednesday, November 4 through to Friday, November 6, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. From Monday to Thursday, there will be full road closure between Atlantic Avenue and Whitman Avenue. From Monday to Friday, there will be a full road closure between Kaighn Avenue and Atlantic Avenue. From Monday to Friday, there will be a lane shift between Walnut Avenue and Kaighn Avenue.
· Crews will be working on River Avenue on Monday, November 2, Wednesday, November 4 through to Friday, November 6, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be a full road closure between East State Street and the Conrail Railroad tracks. There will be a lane shift at the intersection with Federal Street. And there will be a full road closure between Federal Street and the Conrail Railroad tracks.
· Crews will be working on State Street on Monday, November 2, Wednesday, November 4 through to Friday, November 6, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be a full road closure between North 8th Street and North 10th Street.
· Crews will be working on Newton Avenue and Kaighn Avenue from Wednesday, November 4, to Friday, November 6, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be a full road closure on Newton Avenue between Walnut Street and Mt. Vernon Street, and a lane shift on Kaighn Avenue between South 3rd Street and South 5th Street.
Cherry Hill
· Crews will be working on Cropwell Road from Monday, November 2, to Friday, November 6, from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. (8:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on Tuesday night). There will be a full road closure between Marlowe Road and Kresson Road.
· Crews will be working on Kenilworth Avenue on Monday, November 2, Thursday, November 5, and Friday, November 6, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Route 38 and Helena Avenue.
Clementon
Crews will be working on White Horse Avenue on Monday, November 2, Wednesday, November 4 through to Friday, November 6, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. On Monday and Wednesday, there will be a lane shift between Gibbsboro Road in Clementon and White Horse Pike in Lindenwold. On Thursday & Friday, there will be a partial eastbound road closure between Gibbsboro Road in Clementon and White Horse Pike in Lindenwold.
Collingswood
· Crews will be working on Haddon Avenue on Monday, November 2, and Wednesday, November 4, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be lane closures between Bryant Avenue in Collingswood and West Cuthbert Boulevard in Haddon Township.
· PSE&G will be working on Bettlewood Avenue on Monday, November 2, Wednesday, November 4 through to Friday, November 6, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Lakeview Avenue and Merrick Avenue.
Gibbsboro
Crews will be working on Clementon Road East on Monday, November 2, and Wednesday, November 4, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Foster Avenue and Lakeview Drive North.
Gloucester Township
Crews will be working on Evesham Road on Monday, November 2, Wednesday, November 4 through to Friday, November 6, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Black Horse Pike in Gloucester Township and West Clements Bridge Road (Route 41) in Runnemede.
Haddon Heights

Pennsauken

Pine Hill
Crews will be working on West Branch Avenue on Monday, November 2, Wednesday, November 4 through to Friday, November 6, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Blackwood-Clementon Road and Erial Road.
Runnemede
Crews will be working on Evesham Road on Monday, November 2, Wednesday, November 4 through to Friday, November 6, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Black Horse Pike in Gloucester Township and West Clements Bridge Road (Route 41) in Runnemede.
The Camden County Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining over 1,200 miles of county roadway, over 200 bridges and several dams. They are dedicated to making our area safer for motorists and pedestrians through county highway construction projects and road maintenance, including pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting and storm drainage upkeep. The Public Works Department is located in Lindenwold where personnel are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the residents of Camden County.
