HICKMAN, HAROLD DAVID
Age 91 on September 2, 2007. Son of Ida Mae Paul and James Hickman on Mt. Ephraim, NJ.
Decorated WW IIVeteran, recipient of Bronze Star who served in European Theatre, Third Division. Career Army Officer. Settled in Mt. Holly, NJ after retirement at FT Dix. Established a second career at RCA in Cherry Hill, NJ and a third as a real estate broker.
Harold and his wife Helen settled in Ocale in 1979. Until recently a passionate golfer and active member of Pine Oaks Golf Club and the Kingdom of the Sun Chapter of Military Officers Association of America.
Harold leaves behind his wife Helen (Yakubchik), daughter Diane Benson of Colnasset, Mass, grandsons Derek and Adam Benson and beloved family members Jack and Susan Hayes, sisters Hazel (Hickman) Kelly and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours are Friday 3-5 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 5740 S. Pine Ave, Ocala, FL 34480. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
