Another state constitutional amendment, this one claiming a right to hunt and fish, is on its way to the floor of the state Senate. The Senate Judiciary Committee approved the bill last week.
Sponsor Doug Jackson says nationally such organizations as People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) are gearing up, financially and politically, to oppose the traditional activities of hunting.
