Rowan\’s Corey Wins Javelin at the CTC Championships

MEN’S TRACK AND FIELD COMPETES AT THE CTC CHAMPIONSHIPS

CENTER VALLEY, PA – The men’s outdoor track and field team competed at the first day of the Collegiate Track Conference (CTC) Championships on Saturday. The meet concludes on Sunday, April 20.

 

Sean Corey (so. Cherry Hill, NJ/Cherry Hill E.) won the javelin with a career-best throw of 215’ 4.5\” (65.65 meters). Corey’s throw is the best in Division III this year. It was also better than his previous NCAA automatic qualifier of 214’ 6.5\” (65.39 meters) at the Wake Forest Open (Mar. 21). Sean Biehn (so. Edgewater Park, NJ/Burlington City) came in eigth place with a distance of 177’ 1.5\” (53.99 meters).
