*Brooklawn-A resident wrote in that he has heard of several burglaries recently in the community. And from what he was told the suspect was caught earlier today. Also last Friday I have been told the Brooklawn Police brought in the Prosecutors office to investigate a stabbing on Bergen St.

*Gloucester City-A resident wrote me earlier today that a thief stole a late model car from Cook\’s Auto Body on Charles Street. Also taken from the business was a 55 gallon drum of copper wire.

Staying in Gloucester City, brother George wrote me about an AOL Real Estate report that he read listing 38 homes in the City in foreclosure. See link

Another Consumer Food Alert this one involving chicken….. June 9th Gourmet Foods, Inc., a Rancho Dominquez, Calif., firm, is recalling approximately 130 pounds of various ready-to-eat chicken products that may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, the U.S. Department of Agriculture\’s Food Safety and Inspection Service announced today.
