Mass of Christian Burial was held for Matilda M. \”Tillie\” Brunhamer, (nee Morgan), 66, of Audubon, who passed away on Dec. 19, 2008 at home surrounded by her family.
Born on March 8, 1942 in Philadelphia, Tillie was raised in Laurel Springs and has been a resident of Audubon for many years. Matilda worked at Bishop Eustace High School. In addition, she was a bartender at McGlone’s in Oaklyn for 33 years and then at the American Legion Post 84 in Oaklyn where she was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary.
Tillie was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph, F. Brunhamer. She is lovingly survived by her companion, Herb Evans; her four children, Donna (Michael) Cornely, Robert Hunnewell, Dawn (Stephen) Iwasko and Diane (Fiance, Mark Bonner) Hunnewell; 15 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild; her three sisters, Maryanne McCleery, Barbara Smith and Veronica (Les) Gallagher as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mass was held at St. Rose of Lima Church, Haddon Heights. Interment Private.
