Alice V. Gallagher, Active in Firemen Ladies Auxiliary & 3rd Ward Ladies Democrat Club

$\"012608_2023_GloucesterC1\"$ GALLAGHER, Alice V. On March 14, 2009, (nee Finney) of Glouces-ter City, NJ, age 89. Beloved wife of the late John F. Gallagher. Loving mother of Alice Iacovone (Rocky), Elaine Megee (Jim) and Lori Gallagher. Devoted grandmother (Gia) of Allison Zizzamia (Mike), Jill Walmsley (Chuck), Rocco Iacovone (Chris), Jamie Megee (Tracey), Amy Ambrosius (Jim), the late Ronald Iacovone, and 9 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister Grace Burdick,2 nephews John and Joseph Cooper and is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Gallagher was a Life member of the State Firemen Assoc. Ladies Auxiliary, a Past President and Secretary of the Camden County Firemen Assoc. Ladies Auxiliary, and a member and Officer of both the Gloucester City 4 Co. Firemen Assoc. Ladies Auxiliary and Pine Grove Firemen Assoc. Ladies Auxiliary. Alice was also a former member of the Gloucester City Board of Elections, the Third Ward Ladies Democrat Club, the Gloucester City Sr. Citizens and the Gloucester City PTA. Alice was an extremely giving and dependable person who gave generously of her time and talents. She was a great Homemaker and loved to go out dancing.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet Wednesday morning from 9:00 to 11:00 AM at the ETHERINGTON-CRERAN FUNERAL HOME 700 Powell St., Gloucester City. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home. Interment to follow Woodbury Memorial Park, West Deptford. In lieu of flowers the family suggests Memorial Donations in Alice\’s name be made to the Trinity United Methodist Church, 741 Division St., Gloucester City, NJ 08030. www.etheringtonfh.com
