Bellmawr School District May Lose $750,000 in State Aid; Possible That 14 Jobs Would Be Eliminated

Superintendent Annette Castiglione introduced students from all three schools, who showcased their talents, via the District’s \”Smart Boards,\” during November’s Bellmawr Board of Education (BOE) meeting.

Mrs.. Barr guided her kindergarten and first grade students, adding the District’s home page is always set up for the students.

Barr said there are now 27 computers in use in Burke School’s lab. She tries to use free websites for source information, avoiding unnecessary advertising.

Mrs. Maher featured her fourth grade students from Bellmawr Park School.

Miss Gleason of Bell Oaks apologized for the absence of their students, in light of the H1N1 (Swine Flu) clinic that day.

The enthusiasm of the children making the presentation spoke to the Internet as an invaluable teaching tool, with the Smart Boards proving to be an equally unexpendable sidekick to their educational guidance.
