Think what that investment would do to the economy in Nike\’s primary target market– the USA. Nike could still make a profit, albeit lower by putting the manufacturing investment and jobs in this country. It\’s been my experience that Nike does very little for grassroots fitness in this country, choosing instead to invest in marketing.
What\’s good for Nike isn’t good for this country and is barely good for the low wage workers it employs in China.
