CHEER-To Dawn Watson for sharing her knowledge about pet care with the community. We also appreciate Dawn\’s positive attitude about living in our lovely town.
CHEER-To citizens who are stepping up and voicing their opinion about the situation with the county jail. We need those who \”are in the know about the effects and ramifications of this proposal to share their knowledge with the rest of us. We hope to see more concerned citizens make the time to let their voices be heard.
CHEER-To the Gloucester Marine Terminal management (formerly Holt) and the company’s security department for their concern and prayers for my brother Steve Farrell who was hurt in an accident at home. Steve is a former City Police Chief and was the head of security for Gloucester Marine Terminal before he retired. I especially like to thank Bill Johnson, Bob Fair, Leo Holt and Bill Cleary. The Chief, as he still calls himself knows of their concern. Again thank you. Gloucester City is still like family to our family. ~Joe Farrell
JEER to the resident of the 300 block of Somerset Street who feels that it is perfectly acceptable to make a public parking spot his own by blocking the road with chairs even though there are elderly citizens and families with children who live on the block.
