String Band Parade Marches Down Haddon Ave.

Bring Friends & Family Next Saturday, May 30th!

Get ready for an afternoon of music, movement, and community spirit! Due to weather, the 4th Annual String Band Parade will now be marching down Haddon Avenue NEXTSaturdayMay30th from 4 PM to 6 PM, bringing the energy and tradition of the Philadelphia Mummers to Camden County. String bands will fill the streets with lively performances as they travel from Crystal Lake to Haddon Square, with great viewing spots along the way at local favorites. The celebration continues at Haddon Square with an After Party from 6 PM to 9 PM, featuring live music from The Exceptions, food, drinks, and family fun. Bronze Star Recipients, NASCAR Hall of Famer Among Dignitaries for Dover NASCAR All-Star Weekend 

Delaware Gov. Matt Meyer, NASCAR Hall of Famer Donnie Allison and Chief Master Sergeant of the Space Force John Bentivegna are among the dignitaries scheduled to participate in pre-race ceremonies for the NASCAR All-Star Race at Dover Motor Speedway on Sunday, May 17.

Serving as grand marshals for the NASCAR All-Star Race are three Airmen from the 436th Airlift Wing at Dover Air Force Base who recently received the Bronze Star Medal from the United States Air Force for meritorious and heroic service during a 12-day war deployment at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar: Col. Bryan Ellis, Lt. Col. Robert Shuler and Maj. Brandon Gremillion.

Bally’s Beach Bar at Bally’s Atlantic City Casino Resort

 Set to Open for the Summer Season Friday, May 22

Bally’s Beach Bar, the high-energy oceanfront dining and entertainment destination at Bally’s Atlantic City, will kick off its summer season on Friday, May 22, welcoming guests with beachside dining, live entertainment and sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean

The beach bar will debut for the season with service Friday through Sunday, expanding to daily hours beginning Friday, June 19, through Labor Day. Bally’s Beach Bar will be open 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, with barbecue served from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Throughout the summer, Bally’s Beach Bar will feature live DJs, local performers and a lineup of refreshing summer cocktails and food straight from the barbeque. Guests will be able to relax and enhance their beach day with umbrella and chair rentals and first-come, first-served cabanas just steps from the sand.
