TRENTON – The Department of the Treasury reported that cash collections for December totaled over $2.69 billion, bringing year-to-date revenues to $11.36 billion halfway through Fiscal Year 2015. December’s results show yearly revenues up 7.2 percent, ahead of the Fiscal Year 2015 Projected Growth Rate against Fiscal Year 2014 certified revenues of 5.2 percent.
Collections from Gross Income Tax, Sales Tax and Corporation Business Tax, New Jersey’s three largest revenue sources, totaled approximately $2.36 billion in December. Compared to Fiscal Year 2014, year-to-date revenues through December are now up 26.7 percent for Corporation Business Tax and 9.7 percent for Gross Income Tax, outpacing their projected growth rates of 6.5 percent and 4.8 percent for each source, respectively.

TOMS RIVER, OCEAN COUNTY – A Toms River man was sentenced this morning for endangering the welfare of children, in connection with the 2013 fatal shooting of a 6-year-old boy by the defendant’s 4-year-old son, Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain announced today.
Anthony R. Senatore, 35, of McCormick Drive, Toms River, NJ, was sentenced this morning by Ocean County Superior Court Judge Wendell Daniels to 3 years of incarceration in New Jersey State prison for Endangering the Welfare of his own children, and of the 6-year-old neighbor, Brandon Holt.

GLOUCESTER CITY NJ– January 22, 2015 the Patrol Division and Detective Bureau executed a search warrant on a vehicle and a residence in the 300 block of Ridgeway Street, culminating an investigation into the distribution of cocaine. As a result, a quantity of cocaine, cash and a vehicle were seized.
David J. Weygand (36), a resident of the 300 block of Ridgeway Street, the target of the investigation, was arrested without incident. Weygand was charged with possession of CDS (3rd. degree), distribution of CDS (2nd. degree), distribution of CDS within 1000’ of a school (3rd. degree) and distribution of CDS within 500’ of a public park (3rd. degree).

On February 2, 2015, of Audubon, NJ, age 70. He was the beloved son of the late Edward W. and Norma R. Egan, loving father of Edward \”Jack\” Egan, Jr. of Audubon, dear brother of Robert M. Egan (Sandra) of Franklinville and dear grandfather of Brandon C. and Shaina C. Egan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mr. Egan was an Army Veteran and a member of American Legion Post # 84 in Oaklyn. He was an auto enthusist, a Chevy Man, and had also worked as a bartender at the David Sherman VFW Post #713 in Haddon Twp. Relatives and friends are invited to meet Saturday from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 400 WHITE HORSE PIKE, OAKLYN, NJ. Mr. Egan’s Funeral Service will be held 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will be private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers the family has suggested memorial donations to a charity of your choice.

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP NJ (February 10, 2015)–Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Gloucester Township Police Chief Harry Earle are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a bank Tuesday.
The suspect entered the Beneficial Bank located at 483 Cross Keys Road in Gloucester Township shortly before 10 a.m. and passed a demand note to a teller.
The robber did not display a weapon. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s or 30s with dark facial hair. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark coat, tan knit cap, dark pants, and black and white sneakers.

(cnbnews.net)GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP NJ February 10, 2015–On February 2, 2015, Daniel Sheehan was charged by the Gloucester Township Police
Department for theft by deception for deceiving numerous people in a multi-state mortgage loan modification scam. Sheehan was arrested by the U.S. Marshals Fugitive Regional Fugitive Task Force, Camden Division after he failed to cooperate with the investigation and was turned over to the Gloucester Township Police Department’s Investigation Bureau.
Sheehan had deceived customers by stating he was the owner of \”National Securitization Auditors\” or \”DJS Consulting,\” where he charged an initial fee to allegedly prepare loan modification paperwork and negotiate debt forgiveness with lower interest rates among various lenders.
Besides the initial fee, Sheehan had collected additional monthly mortgage payments from some homeowners and did not forward these payments to the mortgage companies as promised, nor did he submit the original loan modification paperwork.
Sheehan worked by \”word of mouth\” and several victims are concentrated in the Camden and Gloucester County areas. He appeared to have also committed his fraud with several subjects in the New York area under the alias \”John Gillen.\” Additional complaints are pending in Gloucester Township, and there are indications that there may be additional victims throughout the Philadelphia area.
