Thomas E. Maull, Sr., age 88, of Runnemede, WWII Navy Veteran

 

(February 7, 1926 – November 30, 2014)

\"6a00d8341bf7d953ef01a3fcef1127970b-800wi\"Thomas E. Maull, Sr., went peacefully to be with his Heavenly Father surrounded by his family on November 30, 2014, of Runnemede. Age 88.

Beloved husband of 66 years of Bernadine (nee Arnold). Devoted father of Thomas E. Maull, Jr. (Debbie), Gary W. Maull (Theresa), Christopher W. Maull (Debbie) and Tracey L. Phillips (Richard). Loving grandfather of Brian (Nicole), Elizabeth, Lauren, Emily, Samantha and Christopher Maull and Rachel Phillips. Great grandfather of Robert Maull. Brother of Edward Maull.

Mr. Maull was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He was a Sunday School Superintendant for 12 years and a sexton for 20 years at Chews United Methodist Church. He loved his church.

There will be a viewing from 8:45 to 9:45am Thursday morning at Chews United Methodist Church, 319 Black Horse Pike, Glendora, NJ 08029.

Funeral Service 10am in church. Interment Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn, PA.

Family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Mr. Maull’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Assoc., 3 Eves Dr., Suite 310, Marlton, NJ 08053.

Peggy Ann Nelson (nee Petrose), 82 of Woodbury, NJ, passed away on November 30, 2014. \"Peggy-Nelson-1417449591\"

Legacy
Peggy was a loving and caring woman who was devoted to her family. She was born and raised in Woodbury, NJ and dedicated 40 years working for Memorial and Underwood Hospital. Peggy was a compassionate, genuine woman who always thought of others before herself. She loved going to the casinos, playing the lottery and animals. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Daughter of the late John and Flossie Petrose; beloved wife to the late Charles S. Nelson; loving mother of Charlene Johnson, Sheila Ross and son-in-law Kevin, Charles G.and daughter-in-law Veronica; loving grandmother of Celia, Sheena, Cherelle, Charles E., Sherron, Vanessa, Kevin and Shawn; dear sister of Betty Petrose, Carlton Petrose, John Petrose, Laura Petrose, and Patricia Bundy. Peggy leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, friends, and her loving golden retriever \”Leo\”.

Peggy’s Visitation will be held on Friday December 5, 2014 from 9-10:45 AM in the First Baptist Church of Jericho, 981 Mail Avenue, Deptford, NJ, where the service will follow at 11AM. Interment Gates of Heaven Cemetery, Mount Royal, NJ.

Authorities Arrest Five Pennsylvania Men on Child Pornography Charges

HARRISBURG – Attorney General Kathleen G. Kane today announced the arrest of five Pennsylvania men on unrelated charges as part of an ongoing effort to target the online sharing, downloading and distribution of child pornography. The arrests occurred over the past week in counties throughout the Commonwealth, including Allegheny, Lawrence, Lancaster, Philadelphia and Northumberland.

The defendants arrested in the most recent sweep by the Child Predator Section are:

  • Brian David Bradley, 45, 5269 Wolfe Drive, Apt. 1, Baldwin Borough, Allegheny County;
  • Preston J. St. Clair, 25, 1217 Hickernell Road, Ellwood City, Lawrence County;
  • Allen Perreault, 50, 2757 Creek Hill Road, Apt. F1, Leola, Lancaster County;
  • Thomas Muller, 33, 1100 Chandler St., Philadelphia; and
  • James Miller, 60, 8 S. Peach St., Mount Carmel, Northumberland County.

Without Prior Approval:Medicare Says No Ambulance Service for Cancer/Dialysis Patients Living in NJ, PA., and SC

Seniors living in three states will need prior approval from Medicare before they can get an ambulance to take them to cancer or dialysis treatments.

The change, which begins today, is part of a three-year pilot to combat extraordinarily high rates of fraudulent billing by ambulance companies in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and South Carolina.

The good news is that Medicare beneficiaries in those states will now know beforehand whether the program will cover their non-emergency transportation to treatments. The bad news, say advocates, is that many fragile people will be left with no way to get to appointments that might mean the difference between life and death.

The Names of Ferguson Missouri Protestors Arrested between November 24 and November 28

NOTE :THOSE CHARGED ARE PRESUMED INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN OTHERWISE IN A COURT OF LAW

Those arrested face various penalties under Missouri law that range from fines to imprisonment depending on the defendant’s conduct, the crime convicted of and prior convictions. Below are some examples:

 Penalty Levels

• Class C felony – promoting civil disorder in the first degree, institutional vandalism causing more than $5,000 damage, purposefully making terrorist threat

• Class D felony – disrupting a house of worship if 3rd+ conviction, institutional vandalism causing more than $1,000 damage, recklessly making terrorist threat

• Class A misdemeanor – peace disturbance if prior conviction, disrupting a house of worship if 2nd conviction, rioting, institutional vandalism causing less than $1,000 damage, negligently making terrorist threat, public intoxication

• Class B misdemeanor – peace disturbance, disrupting a house of worship, unlawful assembly

• Class C misdemeanor – private peace disturbance, refusal to disperse

Penalties

Punishments for felonies and misdemeanors in Missouri vary by class. The felonies above are subject to the following penalties:

• Class C felony – imprisonment for 7 years or less and/or a fine up to $5,000 or up to double the amount the defendant gained from the crime up to $20,000

• Class D felony – imprisonment for 4 years or less and/or a fine up to $5,000 and/or a fine up to $5,000 or up to double the amount the defendant gained from the crime up to $20,000

• Class A misdemeanor – jail for 1 year or less and up to a $1,000 fine, with 3rd+ peace disturbance conviction fine will be $1,000 to $5,000

• Class B misdemeanor – jail for up to 6 months and up to a $500 fine

• Class C misdemeanor – jail for up to 15 days and up to a $300 fine

MEDICAL DAILY:Teens Prescribed Sleep, Anxiety Meds Are Likely To Abuse Them

 

 Prescription and over-the-counter medications are a significant problem for teens. Twelve- to 17-year-olds abuse prescription drugs more than ecstasy, heroin, cocaine and methamphetamines combined ’97 they\’re the most commonly abused drugs after marijuana. Yet, a new study from the University of Michigan found some cases of abuse stem from the very drugs teens were prescribed. Sleeping found some cases of abuse stem from the very drugs teens were prescribed.

Sleeping pills, like Ambien and Lunesta, as well as anti-anxiety medications, like Xanax and Klonopin, are meant for adults, but they’re often prescribed to teens. Some experts are weary of the long-term effects of these prescriptions, and so doctors recommend combining drugs with another approach, such as behavioral therapy. So..

(CNBNEWS.NET)—Following the announcement last Monday, November 24, that Officer Darren \"6a00d8341bf7d953ef019afff9d462970d-320wi\"Wilson would not be indicted for fatally shooting Michael Brown, riots broke out in Ferguson, Missouri and across the country.

CNBNews has obtained a list of the 121 suspects arrested in Ferguson between Monday, November 24 and Saturday, November 29 from the St. Louis County Police Department. See here.
