REQUEST FOR LOWER BAIL BY SEXUAL ASSAULT SUSPECT IS DENIED

WOODBURY NJ–A request to substantially lower the $150,000 bail of a Gloucester City NJ $\"Images\"$ man charged with sexually assaulting two girls in Washington Township NJ between 2006 and 2011 was denied after an assistant Gloucester County prosecutor said the mother of one girl kept an incriminating note from her daughter from the time of the alleged assaults.

Although Gregory Grant (DOB 5/25/55) of 104 Mercer St., has no prior offenses and a verified address, his bail \”is at the very bottom of the range for a first-degree offense\” and will remain unchanged, Superior Court Judge M. Christine Allen-Jackson said.

(February 2, 1953 – July 31, 2013)

David H. Hesbacker, on July 31, 2013, of Bellmawr. Age 60.

Beloved son of Charles and Mary (nee Rollins). Devoted father of Jodi, Danielle, Tiffany, Chandra, Anya and the late David, Jr. Dear brother of Luann, Louise, Charyl, Chuck and Tonya. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hesbacker was the owner of Hessie’s Floors and a member of Philadelphia Carpenters Local Union.

There will be visitation from 12 noon to 1pm Saturday, August 10, at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, BELLMAWR.

Memorial Service 1pm at the funeral home.

Interment private.

Family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Mr. Hesbacker’s memory to Bellmawr Park Volunteer Fire Co. #33, 12 Essex Ave., Bellmawr, NJ 08031.

Jack T. Ribeiro, of Gloucester City, age 58

Surrounded by his loving family, on July 30, 2013. Age 58. Of Gloucester City. Loving son of Christina Marie Ribeiro (nee Cicala) and the late Jack T. Ribeiro. Born in Philadelphia, Jack was a longtime resident of Gloucester City. He was an avid cyclist and enjoyed playing basketball and baseball with his nieces and nephews.

First Friday Park after Dark Event

PHILADELPHIA PA–First Visitors can enjoy regional artists’ performances presented by FringeArts, just across from their future home on the waterfront, and then stroll up Race Street to explore the galleries in Old City.

This week’s event features \”Small Stake,\” an event, which is a micro granting program where the participants vote on the project/performance that they deem most worthy of their small ($5) donation. There will be 3 dance performances after which the audience will have a vote and determine 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Small Stakes will be providing complimentary beer to guests with valid ID.

In addition, the West Philadelphia Orchestra will be playing a set from 6:45-7:30PM and the FringeArts Proposition Tent will be on site starting at 5:30PM.
