David H. Hesbacker, of Bellmawr, Owner of Hessie\’s Floors, Member of Carpenters Union

(February 2, 1953 – July 31, 2013)

David H. Hesbacker, on July 31, 2013, of Bellmawr. Age 60.

Beloved son of Charles and Mary (nee Rollins). Devoted father of Jodi, Danielle, Tiffany, Chandra, Anya and the late David, Jr. Dear brother of Luann, Louise, Charyl, Chuck and Tonya. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Hesbacker was the owner of Hessie’s Floors and a member of Philadelphia Carpenters Local Union.

There will be visitation from 12 noon to 1pm Saturday, August 10, at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, BELLMAWR.

Memorial Service 1pm at the funeral home.

Interment private.

Family requests in lieu of flowers donations be made in Mr. Hesbacker’s memory to Bellmawr Park Volunteer Fire Co. #33, 12 Essex Ave., Bellmawr, NJ 08031.

DVRPC Board Adopts the Connections 2040 Long-Range Plan

\"ArticleAs the region\’s metropolitan planning organization (MPO), DVRPC is tasked with the development of a plan that ensures that the region\’s transportation system is sound, its environment is healthy, and its potential for intelligent growth is realized. Connections 2040: Plan for Greater Philadelphia, DVRPC\’s official long-range plan, does just that and was adopted by the Board this month.

Connections identifies four key principles to guide planning decisions over the next 27 years. They are:

Jack T. Ribeiro, of Gloucester City, age 58

 

Surrounded by his loving family, on July 30, 2013. Age 58. Of Gloucester City. Loving son of Christina Marie Ribeiro (nee Cicala) and the late Jack T. Ribeiro. Loving brother of Frank DelVecchio, Alan DelVecchio (Pat), Carol Deak (Ron), Tina Marie Ribeiro, Donna King, Gina Ribeiro and Maria Villa (Michael). Cherished nephew of Raymond and Margaret Ribeiro and Angela DiLisi. Beloved uncle of many nieces and nephews. 

Born in Philadelphia, Jack was a longtime resident of Gloucester City. He was an avid cyclist and enjoyed playing basketball and baseball with his nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 AM at St. Mary’s R.C. Church: 426 Monmouth St. Gloucester City, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 AM in the church. Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr. First Friday Park after Dark Event

PHILADELPHIA PA–First Visitors can enjoy regional artists’ performances presented by FringeArts, just across from their future home on the waterfront, and then stroll up Race Street to explore the galleries in Old City. 

This week’s event features \”Small Stake,\” an event, which is a micro granting program where the participants vote on the project/performance that they deem most worthy of their small ($5) donation. There will be 3 dance performances after which the audience will have a vote and determine 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. Small Stakes will be providing complimentary beer to guests with valid ID.

In addition, the West Philadelphia Orchestra will be playing a set from 6:45-7:30PM and the FringeArts Proposition Tent will be on site starting at 5:30PM.
