ULBIN William W., Sr.

On April 11, 2008. Age 80. Of Gloucester City. Loving and devoted husband of 53 years to the late Elizabeth \”Betty\” M. Ulbin (nee Schmidt). Loving and caring father of William W. Ulbin, Jr. of Jenson Beach, Fl., Daniel M. Ulbin of Williamstown and Ruthann Ulbin of Gloucester City. Loving grandfather of Matthew D. (Jayme), Stephen W., Danielle E. and great-grandfather of Natalia.

William was born in Frackville, Pa. and was a long-time resident of Gloucester City. He was a faithful and devoted parishioner of St. Mary\’s R.C. Church in Gloucester City. William proudly served our country during World War II in the U.S. Navy. He was a retired Steamfitter from Local Union 322 in Winslow, NJ. He was a volunteer firefighter for many years for the Highland Park Volunteer Fire Association in Gloucester City.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend his viewing on Monday evening from 7 to 9 pm and Tuesday morning from 9 to 10:15 am at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth St. (at Brown St.) Gloucester City. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 am at Saint Mary\’s R.C. Church: 426 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City, NJ 08030. Inurnment and Rite of Committal private at New Saint Mary\’s Mausoleum, Bellmawr. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in William\’s memory to St. Mary\’s R.C. Church or Aide to Aging: c/o St. Mary\’s R.C. Church, 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City, NJ 08030. Please write in memo: William W. Ulbin, Sr.
