Thomas E. Casey Jr., Owner of Casey Funeral Home, Citizen of the Year, Camden County Cornoner, Little League Pres., Air Force Veteran

Funeral services were held recently for Thomas E. Casey, Jr., 78, of Orange Park, FL, also a Gloucester City resident for over 60 years.

Loving husband of Joan M. (Lynch) for 56 years. Survived by children Thomas E., III (Paula) Greys Lake, IL, David L. (Mavel) Turnersville, NJ, Christine M. Casey-Taylor, Austin, TX, Patricia E. Casey-Charon, Jacksonville, FL, Shawn J. (Holly), Gloucester City, NJ, Jaqueline Casey-Nazario, (Uriel), Orange Park, FL, and Regina A. Rierdon (Thomas), Louisville, KY. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and five great grand-children.

Mr. Casey was involved in many things. Member of 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, President of Gloucester City High School PTA, Owner/Operator of Casey Funeral Home for 35 years, Gloucester City, Camden County Coroner in the 1960’s, Citizen of the Year, Lions Club, President of the Gloucester City Little League, owner of Casey Construction and also U.S. Air Force Veteran.
