The Scarlet Raptors’ new head coach collected his first collegiate victory in his first game when Rutgers-Camden scored five unearned runs in the top of the eighth inning to defeat host Hampden-Sydney College, 9-4, at the Ty Cobb Classic here Friday. The Raptors’ season-opening win was called after eight innings due to darkness.
