on September 21, 2013 6:46 p.m.Mike McConnell ran for one touchdown and passed for another to lead Bishop Eustace to a 14-6 victory over Gloucester Catholic yesterday in Gloucester City.
McConnell capped an eight-play, 67-yard drive with a 1-yard run with 1:27 remaining in the second quarter to stake Bishop Eustace to a 7-0 lead. McConnell helped Bishop Eustace increase the margin to 14-0 in the fourth quarter with a 4-yard pass to Vinny Papale. Mike Davis scored on a 2-yard run to get Gloucester Catholic to within 14-6.
