Lindenwold Police Investigating Burglary

\"6a00d8341bf7d953ef017d3ee50d33970c-200wi\"The Lindenwold Police Department is currently investigating a home burglary which occurred today, Tuesday October 7th, 2014 at approximately 1:45 am. The incident occurred in the cul-de-sac of Joel Court Lindenwold, NJ; a single family two story dwelling. The 66 yr old female resident was in the second floor of the house when the suspect broke through a basement window and gained entry.

The resident was walking down from the second floor carrying her purse as the suspect turned the corner and approached the stairs. The suspect sprayed the resident in the face with pepper spray and then attempted to pull her purse away from her. He was unsuccessful and ran out of the home through the front door. 

The Victim described the Suspect as a white male wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, with his face covered by a black bandana or tee shirt. The Victim was not injured during the incident other than the temporary effect of the pepper spray.
