Female Arrested for Six Home Burglaries In Sicklerville Section of Gloucester Township

Press release 2-9-2015

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP--The Gloucester Township Police Department’s Investigation Bureau is currently investigating numerous residential burglaries \"\"that had occurred during the months of January and early February off of Jarvis and Garwood Roads where the accused, Jessica Gosson, has been arrested. Detective Scott Obermeier is continuing with the investigation and further attempts to recover stolen property. There are additional possible suspects that have been identified and more complaints will be pending.

The perpetrators would knock on the doors of homes, and if someone would answer, they would ask if they needed someone to shovel snow. If there was no answer, they would knock on the rear door and then force entry into the home stealing jewelry and other valuables. Residents are always encouraged to contact the police as soon as possible to report any suspicious behavior. It is best to have officers respond to investigate and determine if it is innocent or criminal rather then not call and potentially allow a neighborhood to be victimized.
