Gloucester Township: Winning Police and Community Pride Essays

GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP NJ–The Gloucester Township Police Department wants to thank all those students who participated in the 4th grade poster and 7th grade essay contests. The topic was Police and Community Pride.

Ann Mullen Middle School Essay
lmagine waking up every morning and having to fully accept the fact that
you are about to help others, even if it means risking your own life. There are 156 police officers in Gloucester Township who do this every day to ensure the safety and well-being of the community. They are dedicated to protect and serve. On average, between 105 and 203 officers die in the line of duty each year. This Is why each and every member of our community should take a moment to pay respect to the officers who risk their lives so we can live in a safe community.
