As a homeowner in Gloucester City I am extremely concerned for my safety, the safety of others and the safety of my home in the neighborhood. There are several neighbors that have joined the fad of burning wood in fire pits.

I know that in New Jersey, municipalities are responsible for regulating fire pits for the health and safety of their residents, however, Gloucester City has not lived up to this regulation.

Jersey state park system, will kick off its summer event season by hosting a free Ocean Fun Day, an annual environmental education event for children and families, on Saturday, May 16, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The event, organized by the New Jersey Sea Grant Consortium (NJSGC) in coordination with the Department of Environmental Protection, will offer eco-tours of the island, a host of hands-on activities, educational displays, a variety of classes, and exhibits that celebrate the wonders of the Jersey Shore, while offering tips on preserving our natural coastal resources for future generations.

Dr. Kimmel attended Hahnemann University Medical School, in Philadelphia. He completed his residency at Bryn Mawr Hospital and was Director of their Sports Medicine Program. In addition, Dr. Kimmel served as the Sports Medicine physician for both Bryn Mawr and Haverford Colleges. He has treated both amateur and professional athletes. He also was a former collegiate basketball player himself.

DOVER DELAWARE:(May 13, 2015) – DNREC Division of Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police officers arrested a Sussex County man May 11 on endangerment and other charges related to an incident in the Indian River Inlet where a vessel operator allegedly threw a filet knife that narrowly missed anglers and bystanders onshore. No injuries were reported.
