The writer of perhaps the best-known and most-cited headline in journalism has died. Vincent A. Musetto, who notoriously wrote the headline \”Headless Body in Topless Bar\” for the front page of the New York Post on April 15, 1983, died Tuesday, his former paper reported. He had turned 74 in May. Musetto had worked for The Advance in Dover and grew up in Boonton, the New York Times reports. He earned a bachelor\’s degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
