CAMDEN CITY N.J. JUNE 5, 2015 (CNBNews.net) – A Wildwood, New Jersey, man today admitted defrauding a financial institution as part of a mortgage fraud scam that used phony documents and \”straw buyers\” to make illegal profits on over-developed condominiums in the Wildwood area, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman announced.
Daniel Cardillo, 51, pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Jerome B. Simandle in Camden federal court to a superseding information charging him with one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud.
