Mr. Simila grew up in Gloucester City, where he attended local schools. He enjoyed playing poker, and shooting darts and playing pool. Ed loved hunting and fishing and belonged to several gun clubs in the Chatsworth/Batso New Jersey area. Besides deer hunting in New Jersey, he also chased the \”Grey Ghost\” in the state of Maine and New York as well as Florida. He belonged to the Gloucester City Breakfast Club.

\”Ed had a great sense of humor,\” said his friend Bill Cleary. \”He was quick with a joke and had a twinkle in his eyes whenever he smiled. He enjoyed hunting, and he especially liked using a muzzleloader. He also loved to fish. Ed will be greatly missed by all who knew him. My condolences to his daughter.\”

Chris Christie declared his candidacy for president Tuesday, promising America that he would \”tell it like it is.\” But his track record in New Jersey shows the governor has often gone to great lengths to hide the truth from taxpayers.

\”We are going to tell it like it is,\” Christie proclaimed in a gymnasium packed with supporters at Livingston High School. \”The truth will set us free.\”

(Trenton) – The New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) today announced that all travel lanes on Route 35 throughout the 12.5-mile reconstruction project are open and will be available this summer as the project nears completion. 

\”Completely reconstructing 12.5 miles of highway and building an improved drainage system following the devastation of Superstorm Sandy was a massive undertaking,\” NJDOT Commissioner Jamie Fox said. \”Getting these lanes open before the busy summer season will provide a real benefit to the businesses, residents, and vacationers – not just this summer, but for many years to come.\”
