Detectives Investigating Shooting in Cherry Hill

Cherry Hill, NJ – Detectives are investigating a shooting that injured a man in Cherry Hill, reported Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Cherry Hill Police Chief John Ostermueller.

On Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at approximately 3:53 p.m., officers from the Cherry Hill Police Department responded to the Liberty Bell Plaza, located at 2083 Route 70 East in Cherry Hill, in reference to a person shot in a vehicle in the parking lot. Upon arrival, officers located a gunshot victim – a 61-year-old male – suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Cooper University Hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition.

The investigation is active and ongoing. The shooting appears to be an isolated incident. No arrests have been made at this time. No further information is being released at this time.
