Gloucester Township, NJ – A Gloucester Township man has been charged in reference to the fatal stabbing of his spouse this morning, announced Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Gloucester Township Police Chief Anthony Minosse.
On Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at approximately 2:25 a.m., officers from the Gloucester Township Police Department responded to a residence on the 100 block of Freedom Way in reference to a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers entered the residence and encountered a male suspect, identified as 50-year-old Jerome Morris. Officers observed Jerome Morris was holding a knife and was covered in blood. He was taken into custody.

The Philadelphia Police Department-Central Detective Division is seeking the public’s help in identifying the individuals depicted in the following video and still photos.
On April 20, 2026, at 2:58 am, the victim, a 20-year-old male, was on the 1500 block of Broad St when a large group of unknown Black males wearing dark clothing and dark ski masks approached him and asked how much his sneakers cost. The when the victim told them, the replied that they would buy them from him right then. The victim refused and started walking away, at which point one of the suspects punched him. The victim continued walking but was struck again. The group then while inside a building with security, the group of males ran in and attacked him, causing a cut to his upper lip and an injury to his right hand. Nothing was taken from the victim.
