Joseph Bryan Johnson, 23, of Pennsauken

On May 11, 2026, at the age of 23, Joseph passed suddenly at home in Pennsauken. Beloved son of Roger Bryan Johnson and the late Kelly McVeigh. Beloved brother of William Johnson (Koria Draper). Cherished uncle of Sonya Johnson. Also survived by his loving girlfriend Dyonna Wess, as well as many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Joe was a graduate of Gateway Regional High School, class of 2021. He was currently working as a longshoreman for Holt Logistics in Gloucester City.

Joe enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

NJDOT Traffic Advisory

The Black Horse Pike/Route 168 southbound ramp to Route 42 southbound, which was scheduled to be reopened today, Friday, May 15, is scheduled to be closed for an additional week in Gloucester Township, Camden County. The closure is being extended due to inclement weather and other factors that have delayed the completion of guiderail replacement on the ramp.

In addition, the ramp acceleration lane onto Route 42 southbound and the Route 42 southbound right shoulder will be reopened on Friday, May 22. This will require an overnight right lane closure on Route 42 southbound, which is scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 21.
