Green Philly is bringing back EcoFair for its third year on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 12–4 PM at Cherry Street Pier. This free, family-friendly event transforms the Delaware River waterfront into a one-stop destination for sustainable shopping, hands-on learning, and community connection.
EcoFair brings together local vendors, nonprofits, and interactive experiences to make sustainable living accessible, approachable, and actionable for Philadelphians of all ages.
A Marketplace + Experience for Sustainable Living
At the heart of EcoFair is the Sustainable Marketplace, where attendees can shop eco-friendly products, meet local businesses and nonprofits, and discover practical ways to live greener, right here in the Philadelphia region.
Hands-On Activities + Recycling Opportunities
EcoFair goes beyond browsing. Attendees can actively participate in sustainability through:
- Free T-shirt recycling with Stitch & Destroy (bring up to 5 shirts)
- Free battery recycling with E-Force
- Free bike tune-ups from Mittens Pop-Up Shop
- Clothing repair with HNI Collective (small fee)
- Custom screenprinting with The Hope Symbol
Family-Friendly Fun: Kids Discovery Zone
EcoFair is designed for all ages, with a dedicated Kids Discovery Zone featuring:
- Live educational animals from Elmwood Park Zoo (1–3 PM)
- Interactive learning with Philadelphia Mycology Club
- Community art with Walls for Justice
Movement + Wellness
Attendees can also join a free mobility and movement class at 12:30 PM led by Alex Brazinski, focused on flexibility, joint health, and balance in an inclusive, all-levels environment (registration required).
