Man Arrested for Middle Township Shooting

Middle Township, New Jersey — Cape May County Prosecutor Jeffrey H. Sutherland, and Chief Tracey Super of the Middle Township Police Department announce that on May 15, 2026, at approximately 12:56 p.m., officers from the Middle Township Police Department responded to the Simpson Motel, located in the Rio Grande section of Middle Township, New Jersey, for the report of an individual suffering from a gunshot injury. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, a 25-year-old male suffering from a gunshot injury to the face. The victim was transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center, Atlantic City Campus, Atlantic City, New Jersey for treatment of his injuries.

An investigation conducted by the Middle Township Police Department Major Crimes Unit, in coordination with the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit, and Cape May County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Unit, revealed that the accused, identified as Adam Radomski, 43, of Rio Grande, New Jersey, confronted the victim shortly after the victim arrived at the motel, which resulted in a shooting incident. Through continued investigative efforts, officers located Radomski a short time later in the Rio Grande section of Middle Township. Radomski was taken into custody without incident and transported to the Middle Township Police Department. As a result of this investigation, a handgun, multiple firearm accessories and parts, and other miscellaneous weapons were recovered. Radomski was subsequently charged with the following offenses: • Criminal Attempt (Murder) – 1st Degree Crime • Aggravated Assault – 2nd Degree Crime • Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose – 2nd Degree Crime • Unlawful Possession of a Weapon – 2nd Degree Crime • Prohibited Weapons and Devices (3 counts) – 3 rd and 4 th Degree Crimes • Certain Persons Not to Possess Weapons – 3rd Degree Crime • Refusal to Allow Biological Sample to be Drawn – 4th Degree Crime Radomski was lodged at the Cape May County Correctional Facility pending court proceedings.
