Philadelphia Police Crime Report

The Philadelphia Police Department is investigating several separate incidents that occurred across the city over the last 24 hours, including two shootings and a chaotic series of hit-and-run collisions involving a stolen utility truck.

The most recent incident occurred early this morning in the 19th District. At approximately 6:10 AM, officers responded to a shooting on the highway near North 55th Street and West Girard Avenue. A male victim was discovered with gunshot wounds and was immediately transported by medical personnel to Penn-Presbyterian Medical Center. At this time, no motive has been established, and no arrests have been made.

This followed a late-night shooting on May 5, 2026, in the 25th District. At approximately 11:16 PM, officers responded to a “Person with a Gun” call, where they located a juvenile male suffering from a gunshot wound to his back. Officers rush the victim to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children, where he is listed in stable condition. Both shooting investigations remain active with the Shooting Investigation Group.

Additionally, police have apprehended a suspect following a multi-district crime spree on Tuesday afternoon. The incident began around 2:13 PM near the 6300 block of Grays Avenue, where a male attempted to carjack a female driver. Shortly after, a white utility truck was stolen while left running near 62nd and Reedland Streets. Surveillance footage tracked the stolen vehicle as it struck a parked SUV on Elmwood Avenue, jumped a curb to travel along a sidewalk, and eventually ran a red light at 55th Street and Kingsessing Avenue. The truck broadsided an occupied vehicle, causing a chain-reaction crash into two other parked cars, before the suspect drove the truck into an elementary school yard.

The driver of the stolen truck, identified as 30-year-old Robert Littlepage of Douglasville, Georgia, was apprehended by 12th District officers at the scene. Littlepage was transported to a local hospital for medical evaluation before arrest processing.  He will be charged with Attempted Carjacking, Aggravated Assault, Reckless Driving, and related offenses. No serious injuries to bystanders were reported.

All investigations into these matters are ongoing.
