Starting salary will be negotiable. Top salary for Full-Time Police Officer after 10 years of service: $113,366.87
Overtime Rate for side jobs $100.00 per hour along with Training Opportunities
Qualifications:
•A citizen of the United States and a resident of New Jersey, and is the holder of a valid New Jersey driver’s license
•Must possess a Full-Time Police Training Commission (PTC) Certification
•Be able to read, write and speak the English Language well
•Have not been convicted of any criminal offense or offenses involving moral turpitude
•Successfully complete physical, psychological and medical examinations
•Successfully pass a drug test
•Successfully pass background investigation
•Work flexible hours
•Applicants must successfully present themselves in a manner determined satisfactory in an oral interview given by the Public Safety Committee and police command staff
