Philadelphia, PA – Philadelphia Zoo is partnering with ODUNDE365 to bring a weekend of African culture, dance and crafts to the Zoo! This event, hosted Saturday, August 8 11:00am-3:00pm, continues the celebration of South Philly’s Annual Odunde Festival, the largest African American street festival and celebration of its kind in the country. Guests are welcome to attend special performances, crafts and learn how to play a drum during a Odunde365 drumming class! The Reading Captains will also be in attendance giving out themed books during the event. African Culture Fest is included with Zoo admission or membership.
