The Philadelphia Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred this morning in the city’s 25th District.
At approximately 9:29 a.m., officers responded to reports of gunfire on the highway along the 2800 block of North Reese Street. Upon arrival, police located an adult male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Responding officers immediately transported the victim to Temple University Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
Officers secured the scene, recovered a firearm, and has a suspect into custody. The circumstances surrounding the incident remain under active investigation with the Shooting Investigation Group.
