Arts Ed NJ Showcases NJ Student Artists

Arts Ed NJ curated a gallery of student artwork for the 2026 New Jersey School Board Association’s Workshop at the Atlantic City Convention Center. The gallery showcased work from student artists K-12 throughout New Jersey from October 20th to October 21st.

The Student Art Gallery featured work from the following schools.

  • Franklin High School, Somerset
  • Grover Cleveland Elementary School
  • Keyport Central School
  • New Roberto Clemente School, Paterson
  • Oakcrest High School
  • Ocean Township School District
  • Piscataway Public School District
  • Randolph High School
  • South Orange Maplewood School District
  • St. Mary’s School, Williamstown

The gallery filled the 80ft walkway leading to the Keynote Theater, where superintendents, board members, and administration viewed the artwork. Those individuals from the districts included in the gallery stopped to take pictures with their students work.

“We are thrilled to partner with New Jersey School Boards Association and curate the Student Art Gallery at the Workshop each year,” said Jace Pastras, Arts Ed NJ’s gallery coordinator. “The exhibition is more than a celebration of extraordinary student talent. It is a powerful reminder of what becomes possible when young people have opportunities to explore their creativity, express their identities, and discover their voices through the arts. By bringing student artwork directly to school board members, superintendents, and education leaders, we hope to inspire conversations about the importance of ensuring every student has access to a sequential arts education.”
