NJ BOW PERIMETER BILL ONE STEP CLOSER
Today (June 21,2010) the senate voted 25 (y)- 7 (n) – 8 (abstain) in support of the bow perimeter bill!
The assembly will now hear the bill on Thursday. If the bill passes the assembly it goes to Governor Christie for his consideration.
Contact your assemblypersons, ask them to support the bill. Together we can send the bow perimeter bill to the Governor!
Call and write your assemblypersons (there are 2 in each district)
1. Click on link: http://www.njleg.state.nj.us/SelectMun.asp
2. Click on the tab for \”Select your Municipality\” then \”Find Representatives\”
3. Check the TWO (2) ASSEMBLY REPRESENTATIVES and then click on \”Select Representatives.\” (If you\’re not sure who to select, then select all three representatives.)
4. Copy and Paste the following \”Message\”
As my representative I respectfully request that you vote in favor of bill A1683, the \”bow perimeter bill.\” This bill is good public policy. It is designed to improve deer management, which will reduce car/deer accidents, minimize the risk of Lyme disease transmission, and improve the health of our forests while helping people to feed their families. Thank you.
