Summer is almost here, and Resorts Casino Hotel is ready to party with you this Memorial Day weekend. Don’t miss the official kickoff celebration to start the season! Join Resorts for their annual Beach Ball Drop on Friday, May 22 on the AC Boardwalk. The Annual Beach Ball Drop features free live entertainment starting at noon. This includes the annual Opening of the Sea ceremony, contests, prizes, and giveaways with Bacardi Ardi, and everyone’s favorite cover band, Sidestory! Stick around for the ball drop at 5:00PM and help Resorts say hello to summer in style as they drop 5,000 beach balls onto the boardwalk!
Join us for the afterparty at Resorts’ newest summer pop-up bar, The Piggy Bank! This special event features dancers, drink specials, face painting, and a live DJ. The Piggy Bank | Summer Pop-Up Bar
The Piggy Bank is Resorts newest pop-up bar experience located on the casino floor, featuring kitschy, colorful, bank- and pig-themed decor. This bank’s vault has broken open, and the pigs have gone hog-wild! Step into a world of piggy-driven transactions, where the coins turn into cocktails, and guests park their “bacon” to invest in a fun time. Indulge in drink specials, live music and entertainment with the Pink Piggy Dancers, promotions, giveaways, and more.

Creative Works Gallery is Resorts’ newest art space, bringing creativity to life right before your eyes. Located in the retail hallway, step inside to watch featured artists create pieces right in front of you, sketching, painting, experimenting. It’s a vibrant, interactive studio where every visit offers something new, and every moment is part of the art world. Meet the artists:
Heather Hires – Heather is a self-taught local artist who excels in body painting, live performance art, and large murals. You can find her in Bar One most weekends face painting and look for her artwork throughout resorts.
Darlene Baldachino – Darlene’s work blends contemporary expression with a subtle nod to Impressionism. Her paintings are layered, organic, and reflective – capturing moments that feel both fleeting and timeless. Her work is currently featured in local boutiques throughout South Jersey, as well as fine art galleries in Avalon, Stone Harbor, and Margate.
