Rowan Baseball Will Open Play in the NCAA Regional at Southern Maine

The fifth-ranked Rowan baseball team will begin play in the 2026 NCAA Division III Baseball Championship in the Gorham, Maine Regional on May 15-17. The Profs will face RIT in the first game, with host Southern Maine and Babson rounding out the field in the double-elimination regional.

Rowan and RIT (24-13) will face off in Game 1 of the regional (time tba) with Southern Maine (30-10) hosting Babson (26-13) in Game 2, with the tournament consisting of three games on Saturday and possibly two on Sunday.

Rowan (32-5) earned an automatic bid to the regionals as the NJAC Champion, winning their second conference title in the last three seasons.

The Profs are making their 32nd all-time appearance in the NCAA Regionals and the ninth in a row. Last year, Rowan captured the NCAA Mount Union Regional and went on to win the NCAA Lynchburg Super Regional to make its seventh all-time trip to the Division III World Series.

The NCAA Super Regionals are set for May 22-23 at campus sites with the Division III World Series scheduled for May 29-June 4 in Eastlake, Ohio.
