Rowan’s Brayden Davis has been named the Rawlings/ABCA Division III Region IV Player of the Year as voted on by the American Baseball Coaches Association. Davis was named to the All-Region IV First Team with fellow Profs Austin Kreyenhagen (Second Team) and Damon Suriani (Third Team) also receiving All-Region honors.
It marks the second year in a row that a Rowan player has captured the award with Phil Sedalis earning it in 2025.
Davis (Chatsworth, NJ/Seneca Tabernacle) has established himself as one of the top hitters in the nation as he leads the NCAA in RBI per game (2.05) and ranks second with 84 runs batted in. The junior shortstop is hitting .411 with 74 hits, 51 runs, 18 doubles, 15 home runs and a slugging percentage of .783. Included in Davis’ total of home runs are two grand slams that were hit in consecutive games in the NCAA Regional.
He was also named the NJAC Player of the Year in 2026, becoming only the third Prof to win the award, while he was named to the All-Conference First Team.
Davis is now eligible for the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-America team, which will be announced on the evening of Thursday, May 28, following the Opening Ceremony at the 2026 NCAA Division III World Series in Eastlake, Ohio.
Kreyenhagen (Souderton, PA/Souderton Area), a sophomore, has posted a team-best 8-1 record in 11 starts, and in 71.1 innings, has limited the opponents to a .222 batting average. The righthander has 46 strikeouts and two complete games on the season, including one in the 9-5 win over Randolph-Macon that clinched the NCAA Glassboro Super Regional title. It marks his first-ever All-Region selection.
Suriani (Swedesboro, NJ/Gloucester Catholic) the left fielder, ranks second on the team in batting average hitting .381 with 59 hits, 10 doubles and 44 runs scored. The sophomore, who received All-Region Honorable Mention in 2025, has 44 RBI and a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.
Rowan (37-5) is the second seed in this week’s NCAA Division III Baseball Championship, which will be played from May 29 – June 4 in Eastlake, Ohio. The Profs will open play on Friday at 5 p.m. against Adrian.
