Camden, NJ – Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay is pleased to announce the promotions of four veteran members of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office.

On June 22, 2026, Lieutenant Michael DeGregorio, Lieutenant Thomas McDonnell, Sergeant Matthew DiDomenico, and Sergeant Salvatore Russomanno were sworn-in by Prosecutor MacAulay before Chief of Detectives Robert Ferris, First Assistant Prosecutor Timothy Chatten, and Chief of Staff Michael Mangold.
Lieutenant DeGregorio will continue to supervise the Narcotics Unit. He started his law enforcement career with the Glassboro Police Department, where he served from 2003 to 2004. From there, he went on to work with the Evesham Township Police Department from 2005 to 2014, before starting his next chapter with the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office as a detective in the Narcotics Unit. In 2019, he added a special partner to his daily detective duties when he became K-9 Ace’s handler. K-9 Ace is a single-purpose police dog trained in narcotics detection. In January 2021, DeGregorio was promoted to sergeant, overseeing the Narcotics Unit.
Lieutenant McDonnell will supervise the High-Tech Crimes Unit and Megan’s Law Unit. He started his career at the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office in October 2013 as an agent in the Juvenile Unit. He was later sworn-in as a detective in July 2014 and subsequently sent to the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice Academy. After graduating in December 2014, he worked as a detective in the Narcotics Unit from 2015 to 2022. He was then promoted to sergeant and oversaw the Domestic Violence Unit from January 2022 to June 2022. Following this, McDonnell supervised the Major Crimes Unit until February 2024, when he returned to the Narcotics Unit. He also teaches at the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police (NJSACOP) Command & Leadership Academy in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

Sergeant DiDomenico will supervise the Narcotics Unit. He began his career in law enforcement with the Camden County Police Department in 2013, where he worked as a patrolman and later as a detective in their Narcotics Unit. In August 2018, he joined the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office, where he continued to work as a detective in the Narcotics Unit. He received the designation of senior detective in December 2024.
Sergeant Russomanno will supervise the Crime Scene Investigations Unit. He previously served in the United States Coast Guard as a Petty Officer Second Class, Boatswain’s Mate, and Military Police Officer from November 2007 to November 2011. His next career endeavor led him to the Bellmawr Police Department, where he served as a Special Law Enforcement Officer Class II. From March 2014 to July 2016, he worked as a Sheriff’s Investigator at the Camden County Sheriff’s Office. After this, he then joined the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office as a detective in July 2016, working in the Trial Team Unit, Special Victims Unit, and Crime Scene Investigations Unit. In February 2024, he received the designation of senior detective. During his career in Camden County, Sergeant Russomanno has also served on the Camden County Sheriff’s Emergency Response Team (SERT) and the Child Abduction Response Team (CART).
