Staying safe during the extreme heat

Temperatures across New Jersey will remain in the 95–105 degree range for the next several days, with even higher heat‑index values. PSE&G reminds you to take steps to keep yourself and your family safe in these dangerous conditions.

PSE&G is ready to respond to any outages safely and as quickly as possible. Our call center is prepared to handle increased call volume, and additional appliance service technicians and staff are available to respond to potential requests for air conditioning system repairs.
While we are fully staffed and prepared to work around the clock if outages occur, extreme heat also takes a toll on our crews and protecting their safety is critical. If you see employees taking hydration breaks or cooling off in vehicles, please know that these are essential safety measures to prevent heat-related illness.
