Jefferson Stratford Hospital to Host Free Food Pantry & Health Fair

On Saturday, August 22 from 9am to 11am, Jefferson Stratford Hospital will host a free community food pantry and health fair on their campus at 18 Laurel Road East, Stratford, NJ 08084.

Designed to help local families prepare for the start of a new school year, the food pantry and health fair will provide access to nutritious food boxes donated by the South Jersey Food Bank, free school supplies (pencils, notebooks, erasers, highlighters, scissors and rulers) donated by Jefferson-East employees and access to healthcare resources, including representatives from Jefferson Health’s departments of primary care, weight management, infection prevention, food and nutrition, obstetrics &  gynecology, Jefferson Moss-Magee Rehabilitation and the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Centers.

“For many households, the weeks leading up to the school year can be financially challenging,” said Aaron Chang, President of Jefferson Health-East. “Jefferson’s community food pantry and health fair will ease that burden by providing access to essential resources while connecting residents with healthcare professionals and community organizations dedicated to improving health and well-being.”
