It’s Haunting time and Camden County 4-H volunteers and members are busy transforming Lakeland into the annual Haunted Walk. The Haunted Walk will be held on Oct. 16-17 from 7-10:30 pm. The walk takes place in and around the Camden County Office of Sustainability at 508 Lakeland Road, Blackwood. Suggested for children ages 8 and up, the Haunting serves as the largest 4-H fundraiser of the year and has been held for more than 30 years.
A DJ will be spinning Halloween tunes each night, and Entertainment by Magic Ed and special guests from the Sam 4 Magic Club will amaze people with nightly shows at 8:30 pm. For an additional cost, there will be face painting, pumpkins, and snacks and beverages available.
Tickets can be purchased online at https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/2026-camden-county-4-h-haunting-haunted-walk or onsite at a cost of $10 per person. Cash, Venmo and Zelle will also be accepted. Come out and enjoy this family-fun event and support Camden County 4-H. Proceeds support educational programs for youth in Camden County from 4-H clubs to leadership programs.
Participants should dress warmly and wear comfortable shoes. Do you like a good scare? Then we will see you there! For more information, call Sharon Kinsey at the Camden County 4-H office at 856-216-7130 x 2 or visit the Camden County 4-H website at http://camden.njaes.rutgers.edu/4h/
