This October, Harry’s Bar and Grille in Cape May is unleashing the spirits with the return of Harry’s BOO BAR, Cape May’s very first and original Halloween-themed pop-up experience! From now through November 1, 2026, Harry’s at Montreal Beach Resort is transforming into a haunted pirate’s den for its third annual Halloween pop-up experience. Step into a thrilling world of pirate decor, eerie lighting and haunted surprises wherever you turn. The dining room will transport you to a place you’ve only seen in your Halloween dreams (or maybe your nightmares). Sip on spooky signature drinks that are as fun to admire as they are to consume.
With a menu full of frightfully delicious food and cocktails, this is the Halloween hangout you won’t want to miss! Grab your mates and chart a course for BOO BAR, if you dare! Look for live music, DJ, karaoke and tarot readings with something fun happening every weekend leading up to Halloween. Harry’s is located at 1025 Beach Ave, Cape May. Hours are Wednesday Noon to 10:00pm, Thursday Noon to 10:00pm, Friday Noon to 10:00pm, Saturday 8:00am to 11:00pm and Sunday 8:00am to 11:00pm – with bubbly brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, 8:00am to Noon.
Following the sold-out success of Harry’s Jingle Bar Christmas Pop-up that drew lines down the street, Harry’s returns with the shores first official Halloween themed pop-up bar – complete with a spooky season make-over of the entire bar and restaurant with bone-chilling vibes with a nautical shore-twist. The entire design and production was done with in-house talent – who recently also designed the critically acclaimed sister property Madison Resort Wildwood Crest.Pair Harry’s Boo Bar with fall events at Harry’s and the Montreal Beach Resort, including the Exit Zero Jazz Festival at Harry’s, Cape May Restaurant Week, and more!

NEXT UP AFTER BOO BAR
JINGLE BAR will bring on all of the holiday feels starting November 13th. Jingle Bar was Cape May’s original, and still the best, holiday pop-up bar! Nostalgia, lights, ornaments, Christmas trees and fun seasonal décor will put everyone in the spirit! New this year will be a Grinch themed enclosed and heated patio area. This designed space is sure to make everyone’s heart grown three times larger. Festive themed cocktails and martini trees will only add to the jolly atmosphere. Live music will be offered every weekend. During December, Jingle Bar will hold an Ugly Sweater Contest (date TBD) and Breakfast with Santa on December 12. The season ends with Harry’s New Year’s Eve Party.
The best days of the season are still ahead of us – locals summer affords many sunny days and far fewer crowds through peak summer months. Our heated pool will stay open through the end of October. Heading into Fall is the perfect time to plan a trip to Cape May to enjoy warm days and sweatshirt nights. Sip your way around several local wineries, breweries, and a distillery. Plan a day at a family owned and operated farm where you can shop at the Farm Market, go on a hayride, schedule a session to pet and feed a mini moo, and more!
