On Saturday, Oct. 31, 2026, at approximately 6:50 p.m., 24th District officers responded to the 3600 block of Richmond Street for a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers located a 15-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the back/side area. He was transported by police to St. Christopher’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:06 p.m.
Police recovered a weapon, and an adult male was taken into custody.
The investigation remains ongoing. No further information is available at this time.
