Vineland team wins Bridgeton Invitational title with one-hitter

BRIDGETON – Kris Brown of Garton\’s Rigging and Chris Rollins of Forest Grove Athletic Association hooked up in a pitchers duel Sunday afternoon that defined the championship game of the 42nd annual Bridgeton Invitational Baseball Tournament.

Both took no-hitters into the fifth inning of the seven-inning game, and that combined with the tournament\’s famed speedup rules to make the contest progress seemingly in double-time.
