Eleanor L. Brooks, Gloucester City, former member of Camden Lions Club


\"Cross5\" BROOKS, Eleanor L. On January 7, 2009, (nee Tomlin) of Gloucester City, NJ, age 72. She is the beloved mother of Eleanor A. Brooks (Richard), John F. Brooks Jr. (Theresa), Dianna L. Aber (John) and Duane W. Brooks (Michelle). She is the dear sister of Emmaline Kelley, Caroline Sandlin and Paul and Robert Tomlin. She is also survived by 13 dear grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

 Eleanor was a former member of the Camden Lions Club Ladies Auxiliary. She had also worked as a cashier at Shady Lane School and was a well known waitress at Jay\’s Elbow Room for many years.

Relatives and friends are invited to meet Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the ETHERINGTON-CRERAN FUNERAL HOME, 700 POWELL ST., GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ. Eleanor\’s funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM. Interment is private at the request of the family. (www.etheringtonfh.com
