Herbert E. Parry, of Gloucester City, WW II Army Veteran, Retired PSE&G Employee

\"6a00d8341bf7d953ef0115724332f3970b-120wi\" Of Gloucester City, NJ, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2009, age 88. Herb was born in Camden and resided in Gloucester City the past 62 yrs. He retired from the PSE&G Company of Audubon in 1981 with 40 years of service. He served in the US Army during WWII. Herb was past treasurer and trustee of the First Baptist Church of Gloucester City; a member of the Masonic F.&A.M. Cloud Lodge 101 of Collingswood; a member of the Farragut Boat Club of Camden; past treasurer and trustee of the Gloucester City Swim Club and the former owner of the Charge-it Alternator repair company.

Beloved husband of the late Doris. Survived by his son Bruce of Gloucester City; 4 daughters Carol (Henry) Kozek of Fisherville, VA; Joan (James) Braunwarth and Donna (Lou) Brecht of Gloucester City; Deborah (John) Nemeth of Alexandria, VA; 10 grandchildren and one on the way; 10 gr. grandchildren and caregiver Catherine Gottert.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral services on Wednesday 11:00 AM at The ELLIS-STIEFEL FUNERAL HOME, 301 Highland Ave., Westville, NJ, where friends may call after 9:30 AM. Interment Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro. The family requests contributions be made in his memory to
the Macular Degeneration Foundation, P.O. Box 5313313, Henderson, NV 89053.
