Holy Family University Men\’s Basketball Announces Make-up Date with Kutztown

PHILADELPHIA — The Holy Family University men\’s basketball team has rescheduled its home contest against Kutztown University for Monday, February 1 at 7 p.m.
The game was originally scheduled for December 19, however, was postponed because of the snowstorm that hit the area.

Eight Profs Earn Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Honors

PHILADELPHIA, PA – Eight Rowan University student-athletes were named to the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Teams. Women’s soccer player Jess Babice was selected the Academic Women’s Soccer Performer of the Year.
A forward, Babice (jr. Groveville, NJ/Steinert) was joined on the Philadelphia Inquirer Women’s Soccer Academic All-Area Team by midfielder Krista Verzi (sr. Delran, NJ/Delran). Goalkeeper Charlie Cunliffe (jr. Lakewood, NJ/Lakewood) was chosen to the Men’s Soccer Academic All-Area Team. Safety Mike Barone (sr. Hammonton, NJ/Hammonton), defensive end Matt Hoffman (jr. Burlington, NJ/Burlington Twp.), punter Andrew Smith (sr. Howell, NJ/Freehold Twp.), guard Josh Weiss (sr. Glassboro, NJ/Glassboro) and quarterback Frank Wilczynski (sr. Pine Hill, NJ/Overbrook) earned Football Academic All-Area Team honors.
